Did you know that there were 21 things to do in Las Vegas under $21? I know! I’m shocked and amazed as well!
I was thumbing through LATimes.com Travel Section and I came across this rare find. It immediately caught my eye and sparked my interest. I couldn’t help but click the title and take a look.
Apparently, there is a stretch of untouched desert (Springs Reserve) where you are able to walk trails and visit botanical gardens. The Mandarin Oriental Tea Lounge, located on the 23rd floor of the Luxe, is open for afternoon tea. You have the option of bird watching at the Flamingo Hotel or take a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower at Paris. Can you believe that Vegas has an aquarium? I had no clue that Vegas could offer such tranquility.
For those of you, like myself, who LOVE Vegas for its bells and whistles can find an entire new reason to get that gitty feeling.

Vizcaya Museum & Gardens
I found this little gem in the LA Times. If you are planning on visiting Miami, FL the Vizcaya Museum offers a nice historical element to your trip. It was once the home of the American Industrialist John Deering.
The home turned museum overlooks the Biscayne Bay. Every item in the mansion was handpicked by Mr. Deering himself. The property offers flowing fountains, gracious gardens, and blissful breezes during the summer months. The night tours for the guest cover the grounds and take you into the secret maze-like gardens on the estate. Simply breathtaking! Looking at the photos on the LA Times website make me want to jump on a plane and take the tour while it’s still summer.
This is a must see for those touring the Coconut Grove area. It is definitely on my bucket list!
It’s a big world and it’s time for you to see it!!!

Seats
Here's a fun fact I caught on the news the other day. The best seat on a Delta aircraft is 6A. The worst seat on the aircraft is 31b. Keep that in mind when you are choosing your advance seats on a flight.

Tempe Lodge, Africa
Tempe Lodge in Africa is a safari scene of sheer amazement. This watering hole is a refuge to the wild jungle animals of the region. I’ve had the pleasure of watching the sun rise at the Tempe Lodge, while savoring its shimmering glow over the foliage. Animals congregated at this location for their morning walks, their cascade moments, and their imperative hydration. As this ritual moves along, the participates appear to be oblivious to anything other than their own activity. Serenity is the word that I can find to describe this scene. After witnessing this circle of life, I would consider Africa’s Tempe Lodge a desirable destination.

San Diego, Ca.
Of all the beach cities along the California Coast, my personal favorite is San Diego. There are a variety of activities at your fingertips just waiting for you to partake. One of the most popular locations among Californians is the beach. The crystal blue ocean seems to beckon you to jump in for a swim. If swimming is not your thing, the warm sand is like a plush blanket where you can lie down and sink in. Sun screen is a must as the California sun rays are potent. Are you ready for some football? You are in luck! The Chargers’ massive Qualcomm Stadium is right there! There’s nothing more exciting than sitting in firm plastic seats rooting for the home team. San Diego’s nightlife is unbelievable. The Gas Lamp Quarter in downtown has multiple clubs to choose from. No matter what your taste, there is a club to tickle your fancy. Amusement parks in the area are appropriately marine themed. You can bring the family for a sea life education and adventure. No matter what your intention is San Diego is definitely a desirable destination.
